Grand Rapids Symphony

After studying all four families of instruments, 5th graders were treated to an awesome performance by the Grand Rapids Symphony on February 27.  They learned about conductors, concertmasters, repertoire, instruments and concert etiquette.  We even drew pictures that were selected to accompany the piece “Sheherezade” by Rimsky-Korsakov.   It was an exciting day!
