Rhythm Poems- 4th grade

Fourth graders took rhythms to a whole new step last week! After reviewing note values, they substitutued their own words for each note and created rhythm poems! It was a lot harder than they thought! Groups had to figure out syllables, meters and how to perform each word correctly for each rhythm. Then we performed them for eachother on a "stage" in the classroom! Check out some of the poems that were created!
