Rhythm is everywhere!

Kindergarten and 1st graders are learning to listen for steady beat. We found it in the ticking of a clock and the beat of our hearts! We have been playing instruments, moving, freezing, and feeling steadybeats in various songs.

2nd-5th graders are playing lots of music games to review notes and rests. We are also making our own rhythm strips this week that we will use throughout the year to clap and play!
