Learn How to Play the Piano!

Interested in playing the piano? I received the following information from Grand Valley State University. Please contact them with any questions:

Grand Valley State University is offering a Young Beginner Piano Program.

September 2009 - April 2010
For 6, 7 and 8 year olds!

(Students must be able to read in order to participate in the program, and you must have a piano in your home)

A combination private/group lesson is offered through the piano pedagogy program (Weekly private lessons, as well as three performance classes)

Piano lessons begin: September 15
Every Tuesday afternoon at 4:00
Half-hour weekly private lessons, and a monthly group performance class.

Call the music office at GVSU 331-3484 for an appointment interview on: Tuesday, September 8 from 4:00-5:30

A short interview will be held at the Performing Arts Center, GVSU, Allendale Campus, 1 Campus Drive, Music School, Room 1227

We will be piloting important new pedagogical materials and all piano books are free, compliments of the FJH Music Company! The cost of the piano lessons is only $160.00 for the entire semester, to be paid at the beginning of each semester (12 weeks/semester)
