Tchaikovsky needs your help!

Fourth graders are preparing for our symphony LINK UP concert in April.  One of the composers we are learning about is Petyr Tchaikovsky who is probably best known for composing the "Nutcracker" and "Swan Lake" ballets. 

We will be listening to his "Symphony #4" at our concert.

Students will be coming home with a paper containing a cut-out character of Tchaikovsky.  We would like students to cut out Tchaikovsky and help him travel around and get interesting pictures with him!  He might accompany you to hockey practice, or shopping, or piano lessons.  Maybe you can take him in the snow outside or introduce him to your pet!  Perhaps you can even take him on vacation with you for spring break!  Maybe get a great selfie with him!

I will be submitting all of the pictures to the symphony director who will be choosing some for a slideshow we will get to watch while we listen to his piece!
