Introducing...

Hello Georgetown Elementary school parents and students!
My name is Megan Katzenstein and I am the music student teacher for the semester.

I am in my fifth year at Grand Valley State University. After this semester I will be graduating with a degree in music education and I could not be more excited to work with all 600 students this semester! My main instrument is flute but in my years of band I have come to play many others.  I also play piccolo, oboe, saxophone, piano, and I sing.  I currently also have a job a Starbucks which has caught the attention of the entire faculty.  I am originally from the east side of the state growing up in the Southfield area. I am the youngest of six kids (2 biological and 3 step). I have already learned so much and look forward to learning more and more everyday while making music with all of these wonderful kids.
